Attention JazzFlight fans:
You may notice a change in sound during the month of June on WUEV. Don’t worry, this is to be expected, and we hope that it is a good change!
After a long run with the satellite jazz company JazzWorks, we are in the process of switching affiliations to a new music group called Pubmusic. We will officially switch over to what Pubmusic has to offer the first week of July. Until that time, though, we will bring you some of the best music we have to offer in our own music library during the month of June. Working hard with our JazzFlight staff, we have tried to design a flight path which will take you through the various genres of jazz during the course of the JazzFlight. You may notice a change in our typical sound, as our JazzFlight will now take you through smooth jazz, funk and acid jazz overnight. We’ll then slow things down and bring you more classic jazz beginning around 6 am through noon, with some of today’s best artists sprinkled in for good flavor. In the afternoon, we’ll progress more into modern jazz, with some of today’s best numbers coming your way on your drive home.
Again, we hope that you enjoy the change in sound, as we are committed to bringing you the best sound possible when it comes to music. We appreciate any feedback you may have during the month of June. You can either drop us a line via email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your comments, or you can contact our main office number by phone at (812) 488-2022.
Thank you for your continued listenership of WUEV and we hope that you enjoy the ride through the realm of jazz!
Baseball fans can catch both the UE baseball game against Illinois State and the Evansville Otters’ home opener against Washington tonight on WUEV.
